A full audit of this pan-island business identified the need for infrastructure which would flex with the business. Blue Islands had already identified the need for web-based email and document management solutions and had selected Office 365 and Microsoft SharePoint for these purposes.
Our audit identified the need to replace end-of-life personal computers and to install an Active Directory Server / Domain Controller in each island. These servers together with the configuration of a Virtual Private Network (VPN) link the two main offices of Blue Islands together to provide a collaborative IT solution with an overall increase in IT security.
24/7 monitoring software and Managed Anti-virus was installed on all PCs and servers allowing Resolution IT to support the hardware proactively as part of its fixed-fee ‘Platinum Managed IT Support’ contract.
